Megan has several years experience in musculoskeletal and sporting based private practices both in Australia and New Zealand including starting her career as a physiotherapist for the New Zealand Army.
This role and her experience with high level representative sports cultivated her keen interest in treating the athletic population and has led to her following up sports physiotherapy by taking on teams including amateur men’s and women’s AFL, soccer and netball teams. Throughout her private practice experience, she has also encountered many triathletes, runners and cyclists and can help with running assessment and technique.
Her experience is not limited to the athletic population but covers musculoskeletal assessment and management through all ages. The reward of being a physiotherapist comes from seeing peoples surprise in what their body is able to achieve, especially in times of pain, and through introducing people to the marvel of regular exercise and movement.
