Ned completed his Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University, graduating with First Class Honours. He has conducted research at The West Coast Eagles and East Perth football clubs, looking into hip strength profiles of AFL footballers. Ned has a range of experience in various clinical settings including musculoskeletal physiotherapy, aged care, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, mental health, cardiorespiratory, acute hospital and private practice. Ned recently returned to Perth after living and working in Kalgoorlie where he gained valuable experience at the regional hospital. Although Ned enjoys all areas of physiotherapy, his main interests are with musculoskeletal and sports injuries including lower back and neck issues. Ned continually strives to increase his knowledge and skills in this area so that he can provide the best possible treatments for his clients. He has completed additional training in Dry Needling which he finds very beneficial for a variety of peoples complaints. Ned is a keen sportsman who loves all sport. He has played Cricket and Australian Rules for many years and knows the importance of maintaining physical health and preparing the body for competition. OWNER / DIRECTOR / PRINCIPAL PHYSIO: Patrick graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. With nearly 15 years experience as a Physiotherapist, Patrick has worked in a range of clinical and sports settings which has given him vast exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints and physical injuries and valuable experience in numerous, effective treatment skills. Patrick worked with WAFL East Perth Football Club for five years and as Head Sports Trainer gained experience in both medical and sports injury management. He has volunteered his skills and time for numerous sporting clubs and events, including the Western Australian Roller Derby League, The National Basketball Championships, and Perth Royals Soccer Club. Recently, Patrick was appointed Team Physiotherapist for the National Australian Women’s Masters Hockey Team at the 2020 World Cup, and for the WA Women’s Masters Hockey Team at the 2019 and 2020 Nationals Competition. Patrick continually endeavours to increase his knowledge and skills to further his physiotherapy career and has completed further studies in Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping, Lower Limb Biomechanics, Orthotics, and Business Management. He has guest lectured for Challenger TAFE therapy students in Sports First Aid and has produced and conducted weekend seminars for the Australian Association of Massage Therapists in Sports and Vocational Injury Management. Patrick has established professional relationships with top orthopaedic surgeons in Perth who preferentially refer to him for post-operative rehabilitation, in particularly shoulder and knee surgery. Being the owner, director and principal operator of Archer St Physiotherapy Centre Carlisle and Archer Physiotherapy Vic Park, Patrick enjoys providing the community with a caring, quality and well-rounded service, going above and beyond what other physiotherapists offer. Emma completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame. During her time at university, Emma worked with Subiaco Football Club in the WAFL and briefly with AFLW. Since university Emma has spent time working in a rehabilitation hospital giving her plenty of experience with post-operative knees, shoulders, hips, and more. Emma enjoys treating a range of conditions, in particular sporting injuries and post-operative rehabilitation; focussing on independence and a smooth return to previous function! Emma is passionate about using a variety of manual techniques in the clinic and providing advice and home exercises to effectively treat both the symptoms and the root of the problem. Emma stays active by playing football, heading to the gym and entering the occasional triathlon or open water swim when she is feeling brave.
