Meet our bright and bubbly physio Melissa. Melissa works at East Gosford Physio as a musculoskeletal and oncology physiotherapist and exercise class instructor and is passionate about using the latest evidence-based treatments in pain management, rehabilitation and injury prevention to help you recover and become pain free. Melissa is an accredited PD Warrior instructor helping people with neurological problems like Parkinson Disease and runs our Keep Moving classes helping people over 60 learn how to exercise again. She utilises a whole-body approach, consisting of hands-on treatment, biomechanical analysis and exercise based therapy to maximise results. Melissa is also available at Gosford Oncology Physiotherapy and Massage to help you with your Cancer Rehabilitation and Lymphoedema management. Being a registered Lymphoedema Practitioner, she is highly trained and keeps up to date with the latest research into Lymphoedema Management, especially helping lower limb swelling due to lymphoedema or vascular problems. Melissa has developed an exercise program to help people with various types of blood cancer, (myeloma, lymphoma and leukemia) manage some of the treatment side effects and can help you prepare for treatment. Lindy is available to help you with your Cancer Rehabilitation and Management of Lymphoedema. Being a registered Lymphoedema Practitioner she is highly trained and keeps up to date with the latest research into Lymphoedema Management and offers a full service of Lymphatic drainage, bandaging garment fitting, exercise prescription and monitoring. Lindy is our specially trained Oncology & Lymphoedema physiotherapist and can help you manage the side effects of you cancer treatment. With a special interest of Breast Cancer, she is passionate about helping ladies in their rehabilitation, recovery from surgery and radiation treatment. Lindy is a Level 2 Qualified Lymphoedema Practitioner and a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association. This allows her to help people recover from head and neck cancer. Lindy’s strong background in musculoskeletal physio allows her to help you recover from shoulder, neck and back pain which can occur in your cancer rehabilitation.
