Martin grew up in Hong Kong, and went to Shanghai and England for high school. He then came to Australia for his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in University of Queensland. Due to the experience in various places, he is multicultural and speaks fluent Cantonese, English and Mandarin. He prioritizes patients’ goals and he loves the smiles on satisfied patients after helping them to achieve their goals. He is skilled in manual therapy, pain relief, trigger point massage, and exercise therapy.
Martin has participated in a wide range of physiotherapy settings since he was in high school, including private clinics of different styles (combination of Chinese medicine or sport science), sports rehabilitation centres and hospitals in Hong Kong, England and Australia. In these various settings, he had the opportunity of working in different fields such as cardiorespiratory and neurological rehabilitation. However he enjoys musculoskeletal physiotherapy the most and therefore he joined Hapi Physiotherapy with passion. With his past experience and current knowledge, he is comfortable treating a range of problems.
Martin is interested in developing a tailored, individualized treatment plan for every patient, which can integrate well into their life and help them to manage their problem and further prevention. He is always hungry to learn and grow to become a better physiotherapist. He lives an active life style, enjoys weight lifting and combat sports. He knows body mechanics well and he is also constantly experimenting on himself to improve skills and understanding.
