Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 1996, Jen has gained extensive experience in a variety of both public and private health care settings in Sydney and Melbourne. Having worked in hospital environments and private practice she is well equipped to effectively treat complex conditions. Facilitating Clinical Pilates has fuelled Jen’s passion for the role of exercise in injury prevention and is clear in her treatment approach. Jen has a burgeoning interest in the place of nutrition in healing, as well as the interrelation of our physical and mental well-being. She feels privileged to use her physiotherapy skills to consult with her clients holistically and develop treatment plans to equip her patients with self-management skills. Jen has three teens to young adult children who still keep her pretty busy. She loves to go to the beach, bushwalk and cook up a storm. Special interest areas: • Hand and upper limb injuries and conditions • Perinatal care and women’s health • Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction • Spinal conditions and headache (neck, thoracic and lumbar spine) • Sacro-iliac joint pain • Orthopaedic post-operative rehabilitation • Dry Needling for myofascial release and pain relief • Developing and running balance exercise classes and falls prevention View details »

Mr Paul McLoughlin

Mr Paul McLoughlin

Physiotherapist

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1987 and later completed a Master of Health Science in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2006. He is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and a Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. Paul has been the principal physiotherapist at the clinic’s current location since 1992 and has spent many years helping people from the local community move with greater comfort and confidence. He enjoys working with clients of all ages and activity levels and has a particular interest in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Paul combines hands-on manual therapy with tailored exercise-based rehabilitation to help reduce pain, restore movement, and support long-term recovery. He takes a clear, practical approach to care, taking the time to listen, explain findings, and develop treatment plans that fit each client’s lifestyle and goals — whether that’s returning to activity, staying active at work, or managing ongoing pain. He works closely with local GPs and medical specialists, as well as personal trainers, massage therapists, yoga instructors and Pilates practitioners, to ensure clients receive well-coordinated, holistic care and the best possible outcomes. Alongside his work with everyday musculoskeletal conditions, Paul has extensive experience working with athletes across a range of levels. He has worked with sporting organisations including Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Warringah Rugby Club and has treated internationally ranked athletes in sports such as swimming, marathon running, race walking and track and field. This experience has further strengthened his understanding of movement, performance and recovery, which he applies to all clients — not just athletes. Outside the clinic, Paul enjoys endurance mountain bike events, scuba diving and surfing. As the proud father of three young adults, he understands the demands of balancing work, family, and staying active. View details »
